RGT has been playing around with a ton of wonderful silhouettes this season. The field shirt has been one of their favorites for a classic flannel, but they've cranked it up a notch for this version. This is a fully satin-lined jacket that they're calling a shirt...because it reads like one. Ultimately, we see you wearing this as a final layer because it's got hand-warmer pockets and it's plenty warm enough to be a jacket. The gridded pattern is not only aesthetically pleasing, but it's the reason the wool is so light. You're fully seeing that basket weave pattern on display because the underside of the weave is a different color. It makes the garment breathable in a way you wouldn't expect from wool. They finished it with dual chest pockets and super sharp brass snaps. These are a nice little treat right before winter weather kicks into full gear.

Fit Notes: The Field Shirt is meant to be less trim than some of Rogue's other shirts. This piece isn't necessarily a "size-up" shirt unless you like it that way. Shop owner Tommy has been sizing up to a large in virtually everything. To be honest, it's made his life so much easier, and the fits look better with roomier pants. Unless you're wearing slim jeans, we don't recommend buying your true size. Go up once! Tommy is 5'10," 165bs with a 40" chest.
